One day when I was bored, a friend told me about teen matchmakers and I decided to sign up. Well, after I signed up, I went to search for different profiles. I saw this one profile that looked interesting, he had actually signed up that day too and I emailed him. Well, he emailed me back and we continuted to talk online through email, teen-matchmaker and aim.

I really started to like him, we even started talking on the phone. To make a long story short…we finally met at x fest. I 've never been happier…neither has he. We 've been together for almost 3 months ( hopefully this will grow even longer ). All I can say is that internet dating isn't for losers- its for people looking for a little mystery…something that will surely spice up your life. Remember, be careful- like other sories and people have said- there still are some wackos out there. Play it safe.

Free Online Dating – Trip of a lifetime

This site should be a primer for anyone interested in meeting someone online!! Required reading!

Went through the usual internet dating goofiness: chatroom weirdos, a young lady asking to move in with me after ten minutes of chatting, one young lady who only wanted to send me pictures of LEBANON(?) and many more too numerous to mention. One night on the old Yahoo Conversation feature I posted a small ad saying I was looking for conversation, don 't like cybering but would flirt if given a chance. Ended up that night chatting with Irena. I really liked her but honestly didn 't think it would amount to anything.

We IMed for months, spoke on the phone and wrote letters and finally met…she flew CROSS-COUNTRY and we spent ten days on a long car trip. Seems like a dangerous thing to do; I guess it was but it worked out beyond my wildest expectations. Three months after we “met ” (three months of “I MISS YOU!!! “) I made my own cross-country trip for a “visit. ” The “visit ” is still going on over a year later, things are going fine and we are very happy.

Advice for those still in the 'net game. Remember, the internet is sort of like a dark alley. If you are careful, and keep your mace nearby you can get where you are going. By all means read the stories on here and remember, both the good and bad CAN HAPPEN TO YOU!!!

Free Online Dating – Best Wolf in the Pack

Married forty years; widowed three months, I went online, on the night of what would have been 'our' 41st wedding anniversay….searching for companionship….”Friendship First” was the specification, from 'there,' whatever! The first and only “picture and profile” to appear when my 'mouse' clicked into Yahoo Personals “local males in Charleston, S.C.” was a man with the nickname of “Wolf;” a gorgeous long blond-haired blue-eyed hunk-of-a-man twenty-four years my junior.

“Wolf” and I Im-ed for two hours, the entire time professing great interest in our meeting. I was hesitant; caught-up in the 'age thing;' feeling 'strange'to do-so. “Wolf” assured me NOT to concern myself with such nonsense;he was 'fine with it,' thus proceeding to IM me 'personal references,' proving he was ALL he said he was and MORE! he WAS/IS an 'o.k. guy.' Living only two miles apart, we agreed to meet mid-way for breakfast. To say there was “mutual chemistry” there would be putting it mildly, sary as it was, there was definitly MORE than just “physical attraction!”

As the days, weeks months passed, our “one on one” relationship blossomed forth into a close, loving one, we having discovered we had MUCH in common than ever imaginable. Enjoying the SAME OLD movies; caring for the same actors; listening attenativly to our favorite 'oldies' of the 70's; experiencing a great passion for various gourmet foods and being spontaneous with week-end, “spur-of-the-moment” getaways. It was totally 'mind-boggling; a MATCH made in heaven!

At the time of our first get-together, I thought of “Wolf” as a man I could truly care for. I was NOT looking upon him as a son, I had/have two, just about a year or two older than he; “Wolf” was/is NOT looking for a “mom,” his lives a mile from my/our apartment; I have NEVER, nor do I NOW financially support him, he is very generous towards me and my wants and needs; he's an excellent provider, though MOST of all a warm, loving, compassionate man whom I absolutely love, idolize, admire and adore!

Against my four children's wishes (they ALL attended the same high school,at the same time hence the “objection”) “Wolf” and I married sixteen months to the day of our first meeting. NEVER in OUR ENTIRE lives has either one of us EVER been HAPPIER

How I found True Love…

Sexy Mädel mit Airbrush / Sexy babe with airbrush by romoletto72

I am not going to lie, I am a pretty attractive girl. You would think it would be easy for me to find a guy. And well, you would be right. But, finding a shy, normal guy that I can connect with and will find me sexy is another story. Most guys I have met are really interested in telling me about themselves, and having me be really interested in their life and friends. And, while I am definitely like that, I really like to exchange stories, more than biographies. Anyway, long story short, I go into online dating through my facebook contacts, and found my current guy. I wanted to write this up for everyone, because its waay better than most people think. Its probably safer than chatting to people on facebook, and you can get a lot more honesty out of people these days… especially if you are prepared to give a little yourself. And, the best advice I would give anyone thinking about online dating, is to make sure the person shows you their online profiles at a reputable online dating website. But, then the trick is to match it up with their facebook profile.
Facebook and online dating websites go hand in hand, and are perhaps the single biggest step forward in the industry for a long time, in my very uninformed and not-so-humble opinion. Because you can see someone is serious about hooking up with a cool, sexy guy when they are prepared to fork out for a paid membership at a good dating site, but you can verify that they are who they say they are by finding them on facebook. And, who is not on facebook these days.
Anyway, that is my tip, match the two together, and happy dating! See you on the other side….

Digital Photography: Best Life

Snake Photography Made Easy !!! by Captain Suresh

There are three basic types of digital camera, compact, (slr-type or “bridge” camera) and Dslr. The slr-type and Dslr cameras look fairly similar although Dslr's are bigger and heavier. The most obvious difference between them is that you can change the lens on a Dslr. However, there is a great deal more to it than that. The Dslr is fundamentally different and designed to work exactly the same way as a high-end film camera. This makes it extremely versatile and the only type of digital camera that can cope equally well with any genre of photography.

If your budget doesn't run to a Dslr then you need to choose amongst the other types as to which one will suit your favourite type of photography best. The choice between compact and slr is a little more complicated as both are equally suited to many photographic genres. For many people, the choice will come down to convenience. Some will simply prefer a camera they can slip into their pocket rather than one they have to hang around their neck.

It is certainly the case that compact cameras at the top end of the market can produce pictures that are every bit as good as those from slr's. It's not image quality that separates these two forms of camera but rather the ease with which you can adjust the photographic controls on them. Things like exposure compensation or manual focus are usually simple to adjust external controls on an slr but may be buried deep amongst the menus of a compact camera.

Many cameras have “program modes”, for example landscape, sports (or action) and portrait etc. And these will set up your camera the best way for those types of photography. However, it's not the case that if your camera does not have one or other of these modes then it cannot do that sort of photography. The only modes that you actually need are shutter priority and aperture priority. As long as your camera has these two, then you can optimise it's settings for most photographic situations.

When choosing between cameras best suited to a particular genre, you need to look a little deeper into their specifications to find the best one for your preferred type of photography. There are four sets of numbers that matter. They are about the lens, the ISO number (defines how light-sensitive your camera is), the aperture and the shutter speed. It is those numbers that really matter when it comes to choosing the right tool for the job.

Portrait photography

This is the simplest case because their are not really any special requirements of a camera for this genre. Most portrait photographers like to use a narrow depth of field (throwing the background out of focus), this requires a large aperture. The size of the aperture is given as an f number and the lower the number, the larger the aperture. Theoretically you want a camera with the lowest f number but in practice but, because there are other factors that affect the depth of field, it is not worth choosing a camera for portraiture on the f number alone. It would be better to choose a camera that you find comfortable to use. Set your camera to aperture priority and use the maximum aperture, which will be the lowest f number.

Landscape photography

Again, there is very little to choose between cameras when it comes to their suitability for shooting landscapes. The overall quality of the image will probably be your main concern. Having said that, a large zoom range (6x or more) is good because it will allow you to take a wider range of shots from the same viewpoint. A wide angle lens is very useful in landscape work but the zoom range number is no help in comparing cameras to find which one has the widest lens. The angle or field of view of a lens is determined by its focal length, measured in millimetres. The smaller the number, the wider the lens. Unfortunately, you can't always compare this number directly between cameras. What you need to find is the 35mm equivalent of the camera's focal length. That is the only number you can use to make a direct comparison. A large depth of field is what most landscapes want, so use aperture priority and set the minimum aperture, which is the biggest f number.

Night photography

You might think that a high maximum ISO number would be useful for night photography but it's not particularly. Much more useful is a long maximum shutter speed. Of course you need a tripod (or some other support) for your camera but setting a high ISO will create “noise” in your pictures. You will usually get a much better result using a normal ISO setting and a long shutter speed. You should look for a longest shutter speed of at least 30 seconds, the longer the better. Set your camera to shutter priority and use the longest shutter speed you have.

Close up (macro) photography

Most digital cameras have a built in macro facility, usually identified by a flower symbol. This allows you to focus on your subject from only a few centimetres away. Even without this, you can still do macro work by fitting a close up lens. This is made easier to do if your camera's lens has a filter thread. Working this close means that you will naturally have an extremely small depth of field. To help with this you should use aperture priority and set the minimum aperture (largest f number).

Sports or action photography

Only Dslr cameras are ideal for this type of photography. That is because all the others have a certain amount of shutter lag so you can never be sure of catching the perfect moment in a fast moving situation. Of the other types, an slr type camera is definitely more practical for this sort of work. Look for a camera with the longest zoom range and the fastest shutter speed. Set your camera to shutter priority, use the fastest shutter speed you can, zoom into the action and start shooting.

There are a few other types of photography, but they don't have any different requirements to the ones mentioned above. For example stage (or band) work has similar requirements to sports photography and architectural photography is similar to shooting landscapes. No matter what type of photography you enjoy, their is definitely a digital camera that is most suitable. It's just a question of choosing the right tool for the job.
